First time to visit here today. Family brought me for my birthday! The food was absolutely beautiful!!! The staff were lovely and very friendly. Decor and interior inside was really really nice and decorative.... very cosy.....Will definitely be coming back again with my partner.
Was here last night 11/07/23 with my partner and best friend. Her first time. Food was incredible, service fantastic. She was really impressed and enjoyed herself completely

Visiting family who live in Sunderland and called at Rosedene for lunch. Staff were friendly and food excellent. Will definitely lunch there again and highly recommend

After the recent passing of my dad, we held his wake here. Everyone who attended, spoke highly of the spread they put on and enjoyed the experience. The staff were amazing with us and the quality of food was fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back!

When I arrived, I felt a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have a wide drinks selection which was great for my party. Had a few pints and some lovely food which was cooked to perfection. Would recommend trying the rosedene! You will not be disappointed.

My old haunt! Many years ago. How its changed. I can quite honestly say, it was the nicest mixed grill I have ever had. The staff were fabulous too. Only criticism was the cocktails. Bogof offer seemed good until you tasted it (ready made out of a bottle it tasted like). Rather pay extra and get a proper one.

We decided to try food again after meeting up with some friends.
We were happy we gave the Rosedene another try.
The grill options they now seem to specialise in are an excellent idea.
The steak flatbread and mixed grill are easily top 10 quality.
There's also plenty of mid week offers running which are a fantastic idea.
Staff are energetic and fantastically friendly including the bar and waiting staff.
Will return soon!

Really like this place , we were meeting up with friends we hadn't seen in a long while, so it was nice to be able to sit away from the noise ( it was quite loud in the main bar area)
We all had food and drinks
I had the gammon, which I thought was particularly nice, and very reasonably priced, all seven of us enjoyed our food
Bar staff were really good
We'll definitely be returning

This food is amazing staff are always pleasant weekend's are busy but they will always try ti get you in just have a drink at the bar we had the chicken plater

We called into the Rosedene on Saturdat 1st July. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Aidan in particular he helped us find a table as it was very busy. My husband likes John Smiths beer which Rosedene doesn"t sell now Aidan helped him find a one to his liking. The food was great piping hot and we didn't wait long. Over all we had a lovely evening. Well done Rosedene.

Really nice pub, meals were portioned favourably and priced fair. Drinks were on the expensive side.
Service was fantastic, everyone at the bar were lovely and friendly.
Atmosphere was off only due to the closeness of a pool table to our table, quite loud when trying to dine.
