Afternoon tea is very tasty and the service is excellent

Loved it, pre booked with Groupon for afternoon tea. It was a shame it was so quiet, practically had the place to ourselves. But service was excellent and food plentiful and delicious we had tea with ours. Ordered a cup of coffee and another tea afterwards which we expected to pay for but when we asked for the bill she said there was nothing to pay. Absolutely would go back again. Well worth it.

Booked an afternoon tea through Groupon and it did not disappoint. I was sceptical at first after seeing very mixed and inconsistent reviews. However the scones were excellent, sandwiches were average but overall a great deal. Staff were friendly too

A very pleasant afternoon tea with attentive but not intrusive service. The tea pot was topped up regularly, and as one guest was unable to be there their tea treats were beautifully packed up to take to them. Thankyou.

Lovely atmosphere, and setting.
Staff friendly and attentive.
Food fresh, and tasty. Nice presentation.
My only criticism is that the sandwich tray was not the best. 2 small triangle sandwiches in a normal cut loaf slice, one very small wrap, literally about one inch. Fillings were just so ordinary.
Having said that I would go back as the overall experience was pleasant.

Gorgeous place. I visited with for afternoon tea (Mother's Day AND her birthday) with my Mam in March. The staff are brilliant - incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is fabulous. The warmed cheese scone with tomato chutney was particularly good. The sandwiches were made in a variety of breads (not you're sliced white offering) and the cakes were absolutely delicious. Excellent value.

My friend and I visit most weeks for tea/coffee and food. Always lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. I had afternoon tea there with my daughter this week and it did not disappoint! Rosalie was as lovely as ever and couldn’t have done anymore to make our afternoon.

Went for afternoon tea and was served by Benji the waiter and Andrea the manager. The quality and service was excellent and we were especially looked after by Benji for whom nothing was too much trouble. He made us feel very welcome and made our visit really enjoyable. He is a credit to your team. The fastest pint I've seen delivered with a big smile to a desperate man hobbling on crutches after 3 weeks stuck inside. Well done that man!!! We will be back!!
