Bar Shu Impression

Passed on off chance didnt realise there was a chines open on a lunch time... food smelt amazing so gave a try... rstaurant inside and a little shop... lady lovely and pleasant greets you with a smile we got s+p chicken salt pepper chips fried rice n a satay sauce n was delicious every1 bknin work asked what we we were eating as spell was lovely...

Just had the best Chinese takeaway. We ordered Singapore Chili Crabs (BUY INE GET ONE FREE, can you believed this). The house special rice noodles and the house special curry taste just like what I get from when I am back in Hong Kong. Great value for money, fast delivery and top quality foods. Will definitely ordering again and again.

I have never taste a Chinese meal or been to a Chinese restaurant since I was born because I don't think I will like the dishes. So my friend rang me up to meet him at Bar Shu on Saturday and I was very reluctant. I usually think that it's only the Chinese that goes there but When I got there I saw diversed people. And when the menu was brought I just ordered a similar Nigeria meal (chicken fried rice) but my friend ordered Chicken curry sauce and white rice. And the taste was something out of this world beyond my expectations, infact I ate half of my friend's meal. Tasty, spicy and very rich meal. And the attendant is such a nice and polite lady, she choosed my drink for me (plum juice) and it was very nice. I enjoyed the meal so much that I didn't remember to take pictures 😞😞 of it but am going there within the week again cos I had a lovely 😍😍😍 experience.

Wow, wow wow! This is one of the best chinoiserie restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I still can’t believe it’s in sunderland because it’s that nice. The portions are absolutely huge every time we go we are left stuffed and taking some home with us for the next day!!It’s so underrated I really want to spread the word on this hidden gem to make it more popular!! The dishes are so authentic and the menu is so overwhelming there is certainly something for everyone I can’t even begin to describe my absolute utmost love to this place AND what’s more delivery is only 80p on Uber eats. So please if you get the chance please go over to bar shu it will absolutely wonder you and you will. not. be dissatisfied

A Chinese restaurant for Chinese people , not your Anglicised menu , interesting and very large portions , was with friends younger than myself who can eat , they had to admit defeat , couldn't finish what they had ordered. Waitress a lovely young lady most helpful in advising on choices from the menu.
