Chef's Tandoor

Ordered for a takeaway where the food was absolutely inedible. One could easily tell that the curry base used in the 2 dishes that we ordered was the same with not much effort. The fish was overcooked and felt like it was taken off straight from a freezer. Tandoori chicken was undercooked at the bone. Please don't waste your money, there are far better Indian restaurants out there.

When did new management take over? I received my biryani tonight and it was shocking. No resemblance to a proper biryani, rather over cooked rice and some gravy mixed through. The meal was quite obviously microwaved, you know, thermonuclear - although denied on the phone, as well as denying new management before hanging up on me? This is clearly not the same as it used to be 12 months ago. I urge anyone who wants good Indian food to look at Avatar on Belmore Rd. Leaves this place for dead!

The food was tasty, we ordered: Samosas, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, kashmiri rice, cheese & garlic naan. 4/5 for food. The dining experience was disappointing and spoiled the evening. We were forgotten by inexperienced wait staff and disorganized table service. We were 1 of 10 tables. We ordered in first 10mins, then had to ask to be served drinks 25 mins later. Entree arrived at 45mins. At 1.5hrs we were asked if we’d had our mains yet. At this time patrons who arrived after us had finished and left. At 1.75hrs we received our mains. On departure we were offered ‘sorry’ and paid full price for a 2 hour disappointment. Tidy but somewhat dull decor. Quiet save for the shrill voice of an obsequious wait staffer.

I ordered palak paneer and naan. They give me what kind of paneer i never tasted such a bad curry . Dish name is palak paneer and no spinach at all. hard to figure out curry base i guess potatoe and tomatoe curry with paneer.i request to chef please learn how to make proper curry . moreover i got half cooked naan I know may be you have busy day but dont serve raw food to customers. What a waste of money. Looks new management is running this place. Plz dont waste your money.

I am sorry to say this is the worst Indian I have had in 30 years! All of the dishes we ordered were watery, so much so that the bottom of the bowl there was liquid like at the end of a Chicken broth/soup. As well as watering down the sauces, we ordered Butter Chicken, Lamb Rogan Josh and Beef Vindaloo, the chef also failed with the flavour. It is rare food is not eaten in my household, unfortunately my dogs will end up eating these leftovers. The saving grace, if any , was the garlic naan . Do no bother to eat/order from here.
