Surrey Hills Noodles

Very speedy and professional service at this busy establishment-the staff have a good attitude, serve a fresh product, and are bilingual. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch at a reasonable price. Ourmeals were actually too big to finish in time and the staff were more than happy to transfer our leftovers into takeaway containers and give us plastic bags to carry them!

Alright, here's how I rate my food. Serving Size: 4/5 Cooking: 3/5 Creativity: 2/5 Serving style: N/A Time: 4/5 The place is nice and average size. Has varioud options for everyone. Cook is good, he vas very polite to me. I tried teriyaki noodles. They were originally not spicy and I asked him to make 'em spicy. He did that. My complains would be, the noodles are thick. I mean very thick. It makes me feel I am eating (uncooked) refined flour dough. The whole flavour of the noodles goes down because of that. If i hadn't asked him to make them spicy, I don't there i would be able to taste anything except dough and soy sauce. Good points about the place, large portion per serving, I have had bigger for same price. The place is neat and tidy. I would go again but not if they can't provide me a better flavour and thinner noodles. Would only recommend if you are new to noodles. Don't go if you know how to make good noodles (like me).

This place used to be good. The young guys who ran it were friendly and made quick tasty food. It must have a new owner, as the food has gone downhill and ordering takes a long time. I ordered teriyaki today and it was watery and bland and did not include half the variety of vegetables that were on the menu. Would not recommend.

The quality of the food went downhill since last year. Flavour is overwhelming salty (with little or no other flavour) I had the nasi-goreng last week, sure I shouldn’t expect the world from a noodle shop when it comes to fried rice, but it was just disgusting I couldn’t finish it. It was like a bag of salt had been dropped in.
