La Conquistadora Restaurant

I ordered a big order from skip, it was good. My order for a chicken chimichanga came, I cut it open and this is what I got. The meat was poking out so it looked full, it wasn't chicken but some type of meat tasted like soy meat. I opened the chimichanga and it was loaded with all these veggies. The description on the menu is not was is showing in the picture. Very disappointing as it was $15, the crema on top was so salty, very hard to consume. The tamales El Salvadoran wasn't good at all either.

A group of us went from lunch at this place, is not a big place but it's clean and they took our order quickly, then we waited for about 40 mins for the food to arrive, it arrived separately and slowly. One of our dishes was dropped by the waiter unto one of us, sour cream everywhere on that person. Nothing was said or done about it, we were just handed paper towels and they brought out a broom to clean the floor, that person still paid full price for their meal and it took another 10 mins to wait for a new dish to be made. The food was sub standard, the beans are rice were flavorless and looked boring, the quesadillas were very salty. Overall, we would very likely not to back there, sad as there are some interesting items on the menu.

I ordered tacos and 2 orders of chips and guac. I really enjoyed the flavour of the tacos. Very well made. I was very disappointed with my 2 orders of chips and guac. It seems like they put in their guacamole salsa with chunks of guacamole tomato and onion. I really love guacamole and although the flavour was good the consistency really ruined it for me. I don't want gigantic chunks of avocado in my guacamole and I think that putting in the large chunks misrepresented the portion you get. I'll probably order the meals but likely won't get the guacamole again.
