Mahek Chat House Ltd

The stars are only for the hot fresh dosa. Otherwise its a bug let down. I was recommended by a colleague and it was not at worth the money or taste. We ordered mahek chaat and masala dosa. Mahek chaat was a disaster. One corner all tamarind sauce extremely sour and sweet. The whole thing was sooo cold. Chaat is basically hot chickpeas mixed with potatoes and stuff. This was more like dahi papdri. I even got tomato pieces with off taste and spoiled. Dosa was fresh thats it. The coconut chutney was horribly sweet no tempering in it. One thing learnt is nobody can make authentic dosa other than south Indians. There was no ginger chutney instead sugar gilled curd. Will not be going back for sure unless there is an improvement. We asked for spicy but i think the lady ignored our request and kept asking if you want to order anything else. Finally after telling its bland she gets green chutney bottle and we had the remaining with it. Neither of the dishes were even fine.

Very good snacks! The Mahek Chaat is definitely worth ordering. Only for the pani puri, I don't know if it's Indian style vs. Pakistani style, but they aren't as flavorful without the chutneys and things on top before you dip them in water. Otherwise, everything was very satisfactory and I'd be happy to come again and try new dishes!

This place is a hit and miss. Sometimes the dishes are great, other times,it it's meh... We ordered the sev Puri and Dahi Balla. The sev was so fresh and crunchy. The owner is generally a nice guy! If you're looking for some snacks or appis, I'd recommend the sev Puri, so many layers for flavours in one bite!

I went there on Monday Aug 13th with my sister. I really enjoyed the food (especially the mehak special chat👌) The service was amazing. I lady working over there was super nice and suggested us about Mehak Special Chat. She was super amazing. May be her name was Gagan.I have never seen this kind of service before.🤗
