Sushi Rei

Really enjoyed our experience as we wanted to try some different from our monthly visit to Sushi California. This is a by far improvement as the location is quieter and prices are comparable so you don't break the bank but can actually have a conversation. Food was great as it came out quickly and tasting fresh. I was able to ask for no onions in my don as some other places don't allow customization. Check this place out if you want great food with a great experience.

Our family and friends went there last weekend. I am not a big fan for sushi usually, but their food, including those rolls, tuna, salad etc.are all excellent and fresh. The environment is very nice and clean, staff there are so friendly. You would not regret to have it a try if I will say. I have been spreading the words around my colleagues during the coffee break this morning when I am trying to locate the address for them on Google map. Here it promoted to write my review.

Great new Japanese restaurant for this area. The small plaza that it's in is a bit run down and may turn people off but see past that and head inside. Very fresh fish, exciting specialty rolls and the chef sometimes sends out a new dish for free to test it out! I highly recommend the ramen here as well. Also fantastic service, and staff remembers who you are.

The first time I went to Sushi Rei, 5/5. This timing going to Sushi Rei 3/5. Averages out to 4/5. I agree with others, sashimi is very fresh. I would definitely recommend. However the sushi rice they used to wrap the makis and rolls were too mushy.. they added too much water when making the rice. It didn't taste good since we ordered the tray and everything involved sushi rice. Talking about the deep fried stuff (dynamite & tempura), they were not fresh as they we were soggy and cold. You can get those fresh at Sushi Zen. Crazy Girl Roll I also didn't like. Nothing special.
