Mixt Lobby Lounge

My parents and I frequented this establishment several times during the duration of our stay. We were most impressed..actually..with the exemplary service I received from MO who deserves acknowledgement for being asset to your employ. I can't articulate in words how delighted we were with his kind demeanor and exemplary service. All my respect MO!

Trying this place out on the last weekend of the Dine Out Vancouver weekend. The food was good but the wait times were a bit long - 40 minutes. Portion was small, but the presentation was nice. The steak was delicious but it wasn’t hot by the time they delivered it. Perhaps the kitchen was short staffed tonight. The saving grace of the evening was our amazing server, Tomoko. She was so sweet and attentive. We enjoyed having her with us tonight. One thing to note: DON’T PAY for the parking! Go to the front desk to register your vehicle. We paid the $7.00 at the pay station to find out that they don’t validate or reimburse. Overall, I. Any say this was a great experience. Too long of a wait, main course was cold and parking procedure wasn’t clear so it was expensive.

We went down for cocktails and treats on a friday night. The service was awsome, Our waitress (Cathy) was super personable helpful and efficient. They had a trio playing music, the atmosphere was fun and decorated pretty for Christmas. Our food and cocktails were delish. I would highly recomend it for a night cap or entertainment with friends.

Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because this mouse cake and the charcuterie-board was good. My cousins were staying here, so we came to pay them a visit at about 9-10pm and thought we would hang out at the lounge, grab some drinks, coffee and appys. There were about 5 people in total sitting in the lounge at the time and they had a live band playing which was nice. However, our server, worst service ever received. She was not attentive to our table, did not refill our coffees, gave attitude when speaking to us, and frankly was rude. At one point of the night my cousin and I were afraid to ask her to refill our coffee, because we thought she would snap or do something to it. I don’t quite know what her problem was, but maybe she shouldn’t be working in the service industry if she can’t kind. Very disappointed. Makes Sheraton look bad. Worst $80 ever spent.

I want to thank Emmanuel and the wonderful staff for making an incredible Christmas dinner for my colleagues and I. We were working Christmas evening at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Emmanuel personally dropped off dinner and amazing desserts for us. They wrote us a beautiful card as well. Thank you for making Christmas even more special!

Even though Mixt is only a few blocks from our home, we hadn't dined there in about 3 years. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and our server, Jordana was delightful. We would return just to visit with her. The live music on Friday & Saturday nights is an added bonus. Note to locals, you don't have to pay for parking, just give your license plate number to the hostess.

Thanks for the wonderful Father's day experience. We enjoyed our brunch buffet, the dishes were all delicious, the service was excellent, and the price tag was all worth it 👍 The live music made our dining even more memorable ❤ The place is very accessible and family-friendly. Bonus: free wifi and free parking, just have your plate # registered at the reception. Highly recommended!!!
