Went for my birthday. One of the best Italian restaurants in Wales. Delicious food, lovely and warming staff and a great atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

We dropped in tonight for dinner, and the meal and service was amazing, totally exceeded what we had hoped for. At £30 head for 2 courses it was a great value and highly enjoyable meal. We will go again next time in the area and highly recommend the restaurant.

Service was very slow. Waited 50 mins for starters considering they gave table for 1 & 1/2 hours. Tried to charge me more at the till but I noticed & got it corrected so check your bill when you receive it.
Other than that the food was very nice & hot. I would go again but not when I am in a rush during lunch time.

Haven't been to Vesuvios for a while. It was fantastic, totally recommend the lunchtime menu which was very reasonably priced and the food was of the highest quality. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Nice to see it was busy when so many restaurants are struggling. Recommend a visit.

Not been here for ages except when my daughter and I snuck here from time to time and all because the wife I used to have access to didn't like it she was a fussy soulless person. But luckily she has moved on to better things than me and I am a free man again so I am glad to say it's still as good as before so I will definitely be back soon

This little gem of a place is outstanding. You will always receive a friendly, warm welcome here. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is just divine. I've never had a bad meal or experience. It doesn't take long for the food to arrive following ordering from the menu. It's fresh, hot and so very tasty. I recommend Vesuvios to everyone.

Excellent Italian meal. Antipasto was generous and tasty. My calzone was huge and full of flavour (caution if you aren't a lover of chillies !). Partners prawn and avocado starter was just as generous, and her chicken in white wine was delicious she said. Prompt and friendly service even though the restaurant was busy (8.45 booking on a Friday evening). 2 courses, 2 mains plus a pint of lager and a bottle of red wine £85 (wine was £24). Would recommend, but I'd suggest booking in advance as it gets very busy.

Mine and my husbands favourite Italian restaurant. We came here Thursday for his birthday and enjoyed as always
Service was amazing, the waiters and waitress were very attentive and friendly
Food was stunning and portions were very large. I don't like spicy food so I asked for my calzone without the jalapeños and chillies and this was not a problem
Looking forward to coming back again soon
