If you want good home cooking for a Sunday lunch try this place , it was the first time for us and it definitely will not be the last lovely plenty of meat and veg and gravy , beautiful

Lovely food, huge portions, Alan is an amazing Chef, we had the mixed grill and 10oz melt in the mouth ribeye, perfect! Lovely home made proper chips, amazing home made coleslaw yum! The peas are the sweetest around, the onion rings are perfect and the huge mushroom was cooked to perfection. both he and Hayley make a good fit, thanks for the delicious food and the warm welcome as always,

Me and daughter appreciated the limited menu but there wasn't a choice of a vegetarian meal. My daughter is a vegetarian. We had cheesy chips which was nice but not what I would have chosen as a meal.

Came here today for mothers day! Probably the bestest dinner I've ever had! Service was amazing even though they were busy as! Hayley the landlady was so helpful and accommodating! Family friendly and great prices!!

Went here for a baby shower and it was wonderful. Despite the rain we had location's to sit in in the newly converted cabin (with a heater TV and seating for at least 15) Wonderful table service even outside where the awesome staff bless them were getting a little wet!
We didn't have food today as there was a buffet provided for the baby shower by the host.

Great pub very friendly people and staff, food is very good big portions but be prepared to wait for your food but it's worth the wait! I will definitely return when I'm back in the area!
