Great fun, this hidden street is all about the atmosphere and the feeling of Asian Street food. It's great fun for something different. The food is a teeny bit expensive and the food was ok, it was certainly decent with drinks being super expensive but not complaining, I would definitely visit again, keen to try out all of the different cuisines. Definitely worth a visit

Our son took us to Spice Alley today. We went at 12 on a Wednesday in July, and it was quiet so easy to walk round and look at all the varied and mouth watering choices. We went to Alex Lee and had the crispy chicken with noodles and a spicy coconut sauce that was amazing. It tasted like a family dish my grandmother used to make from Burma. I would highly recommend a trip to this gem of a place in Sydney

Located behind of Central Park mall with outdoor sitting. Access through small lane.
Light decorated around the area and busy in dinner time.
All the food stalls are Asian cuisine. I'd tried some of the food from each stall randomly, the food mostly tasted average, could say low quality fast food.
Price is consider pricey, small amount in takeaway plate for dine in/TA as well.
I would prefer having meal in other cafe/restaurant next time.

How good is this place?! Asian street food vibes all the way. We had fun exploring the different vendors. Seating can be a problem and at peak times you wait. But well worth it

Spice Alley is a great hide away in the back streets of Chippendale. Cleverly created eatery contains a whole street of restaurant/street food vendors from a variety of different cuisines including Japanese, Singaporean, Chinese, Indian and Malaysian (& others). You can grab your food from any vendor and find a table somewhere along the street meaning if you go with others, you can all choose to eat from the different cuisines available but all sit together to enjoy!

I accidentally stumbled upon this place, and now I come back everyday.
In truth I was looking for a place that was open for an early lunch (before 11am) and google kept trying to send me here.
In retrospect there are big signs in front of the alleyways that lead to Spice Alley. In my defense, some of the alley ways are less than half a metre wide.
Spice Alley consists of multiple spice / Asian / fusion restaurants. There are not many asian influenced cuisines one cannot find here.
All restaurants are competitively priced and really could not exist in here for long if they were not at the top of their game in sourcing produce, cheffing and delivery.
I absolutely loved the melting pot of restaurants and people here. The atmosphere was fantastic lunch through dinner.
This is a must visit Sydney experience!

Out and about with a break in the weather, been a while since my partner and I had Asian food so headed out to Spice Alley in Sydney. Lot of vendors to choose from, food options clearly displayed and priced. Value for money and delicious. Drink bar available as well. This is a top spot for a mix of different foods.

Spice Alley is more about the quirky outdoor experience rather than the food.
I’s been designed to be a surprise; tucked away and hidden from the public view; clever and enticing. Satisfies those of us who miss the raw Asian street food culture.
