This place and food is great ! Went for a dinner on a winter weekend...the ambience was chill, charming and very welcoming. Staffs are extremely hospitable and knowledgable that they literally come and ask you time to time "how is everything"...that was amazing...all the food and drinks from wide range of menu were luscious...Bamboo Biriyani is speciality of this restaurant and a must try...Overall this has now become one of my most favourite Indian restaurant in Sydney...! 🙂

Amazing food & mocktails. The drink we tried were something new & refreshing. The service was also very good. Both the entrée & main course was amazing. We had Rajasthani Kadhi Pakora & I must say it was so delicious & have never had anything close to this before. The only turn off for us was that the view we read a lot about in other reviews, we didn’t get to experience that. The blinds were shut for some reason which didn’t make sense as tue weather was beautiful. Also, I understand they are not obligated to do it but I read a few other reviews where they took extra efforts for someone’s special occasion, which was no close to what we experienced. Even after mentioning that it was our anniversary, no extra efforts made. Well, either you should do for all or not to at all. Would definitely not like to be discriminated like this???🙄 Regardless of this, we would be definitely visiting this place over & again to taste Rajasthani Kadhi Pakoras. Compliments to the chef 👨🏽‍🍳 Second Visit: One of the worst momos I had so far. And I would agree to a few of the reviewers who have mentioned about small portions & very high price. I never knew that dinner for two would cost a freaking $100 🤫Okay it is a fine dine restaurant, but atleast the portion should be sufficient for the price you pay. I can guarantee that one curry will not be sufficient for two. Also, how can small 4 pieces of momos (which tasted pathetic) could cost $19??? Naan portion is very small too so you have to order more. I’ll say that this place is not for making a name for fine dine Indian restaurant, only for business. Once again….DISAPPOINTED!!!

I have a new found appreciation for every indian restaurant after visiting this place. Abhis is better than this place.This place gives fine dining food a bad name- everythings small, bland, boring and overpriced. I am here on my birthday and tbh besides the view and ambience everything else is awful. the food, service and drinks are basic. Please save your money. Zaffran is good if you in the harbour area. Other good places are dosa hut, chatkaz and taj. Even abhis is better. I saying this as a desi person to other desis or other people who want authetic good real food and want quality. I attached receipt as proof i went.let me give break down of the food: lasis got colored water, yoghurt and not much mango. Bland. Main dish was paneer with popcorn piece blobs in there and the latcha parata's are just plain rotis plain personally my rotis are nicer. And the naans are small super basic. Omg and the entree was baby size 3 mushrooms and with teaspoon of cheese/corn in each one with some peri peri sauce. Omg not worth the money. Even i could get a jetstar flight and go to a resturant with a beautiful view. Save your money. Save your time and your energy. Especially when it is special event my entire birthday lunch was awful. The goods not sharable for 2-3 people at all and thats only reason why finished. Everyone deserves better. Also the management and some of the people around are so so snooty and play politics which is awful as they do not want to serve proper, delicious and good quality good food. They also dont want to serve everyone quickly only some and the owner/management says hello to some not to others

Had delivery. Was absolutely terrible. My review seems to have been removed so here I am again to rewrite about how bad my experience was. Sent us three rice dishes and NO naans when ordered one rice, two naans, butter chicken and entrees. Butter chicken was not butter chicken. Literally the worst Indian food I have ever had and I've had ALOT of Indian food. I am a Platinum UberEats user and this was hands down the worse food I've received in my 5 years of using UberEats while living in the Sydney CBD. Got an instant refund from UberEats. Stay away... terrible food, dishes changed to rice with no explanation or compensation, and the actual dish that arrived was so bad we threw it out and got McDonalds instead. Thanks for a terrible experience.
