Indigo Double Bay

Overpriced, underwhelming food and terrible service. Went here for breakfast on my birthday. Had to wave them down any time we wanted their attention and no one came over to check on us; none of the staff looked happy to be there. The food looked great on the plate but my corn fritters were bland and my partners Croque Madam was just sickly. The food is not worth the price tag at all!

Good location, except the cars driving past literally less than a metre from where you are sitting, good atmosphere, good food. Lots of goods, but no greats. It's an average cafe, I have nothing negative to say, but nothing wowed me either. If you are after a weekly brunch spot, its perfect. If you are out to breakfast with friends and family for a catch up I would chose somewhere a little more special, where the staff are a little more enthusiastic.

I have been told by a lot of my Sydney friends about Indigo so I am glad that I was able to come! The outdoor restaurant setting was a real highlight for me, especially as we got to enjoy the fantastic weather that Sydney has to offer! We ordered the King Prawn Bruschetta and Breakfast Bruschetta and were certainly not let down! Although a little pricey and probably could have done with an extra slice of toast, the mix of flavours were great and the portion size was pretty good! I certainly would recommend Indigo, but I am guessing if you’re from Sydney you’ve probably already been!
