Terrible experience. Steak was tough and dry and well done on the sides and medium well in the middle even though I asked for medium rare. Waitress said would make a new one but 5 minutes later owner came over and told me it would be the same even if they made a new one so they gave me my unfinished food back. I said it’s definitely not medium rare he said it’s just how it’s made and nothing else was done. Felt like $8 steak and not $29. I ate on promo but none of the other shops do this when they screw up even when on promo.

This is a great spot for catching up with someone over morning coffee - the sun streams nicely in through the large windows. I've not been for any food service and have heard from colleagues that they waited a long time for food; however, coffee service is good - and I always like the nice touch of water being delivered automatically with coffees.

Nice fitout, very light with tall ceilings. However the service and food left much to be desired. Waited 40 minutes for menus until we called the waiter over. They forgot milk on the side for my coffee and didn't top up our water the entire time. The place wasn't even busy at all – maybe 4 other tables. Food was below average. I had the bacon and egg roll which had slightly burnt old bread, a tiny egg yolk, and overcooked bacon. Not sure why it's rated so highly. It has a lot of potential but the inattentive wait staff and average food let it down for us today.
