My father recommended me to go to this place as it was his go to 20 years ago.
The service was not very welcoming, however we did get dinner at 7pm so I was just assuming everyone is tired.
The food was very tasty though! The braised pork belly was made with solid effort it was tender, juicy and very tasty. I loved the broth that came with it. Cantonese fried rice just needed a little bit more flavour, other than that it reminded me of my childhood.
The restaurant really needs some renovation, it looks like it hasn't been touched since the 80s 😅

Emperor's Puffs! You can go inside for a great meal, but if you feel like munching on good creamy puffs, you won't be disappointed. Just look outside, there is a hole in the wall, usually with a long waiting line. Worths the wait !

Old school yum cha. Been coming here for years. Always popular amongst the local Asians. We had lots like 10 different things the bill came to $100 for two people.

Came here for yum cha and everything was fine. Service was good, the food was great as usual however the pricing seems to have skyrocketed since the last time I visited. 6 plates cost $75, I couldn't believe it! I understand times have changed however there are other yum cha places in Sydney with more reasonable prices with dishes just as tasty. Just my opinion.
I'll only come back for the cream puffs moving forward, they're always a treat.

Service is amazing, the staff are so warm and welcoming!
The food was subpar for the price, the most enjoyable dish was the egg tarts and cheong fun (rice noodle)

There is always a line for the puffs. The texture and everything was nice, but it just wasn’t my thing. You still have to stop by and try. It’s very cheap.

Standard yumcha, the quality is average compared to other places.
Pros: great customer services, both trolley ladies and waiters were nice and friendly.
Not too crowded on Saturday noon, but probably due to the quality.
Cons:
- Average quality, har gow and the glutinous rice dumpling were good, however the essential like Phoenix claws, siumai and tripe tasted like frozen. Mango pancake dough wasn’t soft and lacked more cream.
- Overpriced for its quality.

Had Yum Cha at 11.30am but was very dissapointed with the place. Floors (carpets) were dirty and the yum cha servings although off a trolley were either cold or luke warm. Food was not tasty and even the har gow was chewy. Cost $66 for 6 plates. Never again!
