Food tasted good, but for the price and the fact that the QVB is so touristic, I would have expected a better presentation. The eggs Benedict looked pretty flat; with exactly the same amount of food they could have stacked it for better presentation.
Coffee was ok, and service was quick and friendly.

One of the best cafes in Sydney!
This cafe is always so consistent with their service and food quality. Coffee is amazing. I can recommend the breakfast wrap as well as the quinoa salad for lunch.
I always return to this cafe when I’m in the city.

Everytime I stop off at this lovely coffee shop. Firstly the staff are just so lovely to me everytime. Smiles all round quick service great coffee. The food is always very yummy I just have nothing else to say except I always leave smiling and very happy I say there to experience such a lovely atmosphere. Thank you once again I rate you 5 stars. We had the most sweet and accommodating wait staff. Happily seated our group of 6. Efficient service. Amazing coffee and tasty food.

My mum and I usually visit Metropole when she visits Sydney. The coffee tastes great and the selection of food is fantastic. The staff handle the cafe being an island of a busy thoroughfare exceptionally well. They are also have a high load of patrons, but I've never experienced high wait times, coffee and food has always come out reasonably fast. Thank you so much for all the great experiences. I'll definitely be back soon!
