Orwells Coffee

Food here was fantastic, small well designed cafe with friendly staff and none of the hipster annoyance that so many cafes around here have. It was the waiters second day I believe he said but he was super friendly and knew the menu well. It's a small simple menu but quality not quantity is how it left me feeling. Smell of fresh baked banana bread flowing from the kitchen. I had the B&E Roll which was brilliant and shared a lemon and pistachio bread which was also amazing. All in all a nice place, well priced and friendly team. I highly recommended it. Would be great if they accepted American Express which is why only 4 stars.

Loved having my breakfasts here while we were staying just around the corner. AMAZING Kombucha! Love that they have some very healthy options and everything my husband and I had was amazing! We ate here 3 different times over our very short trip. I love their attention to detail with their food and drinks. The staff was amazing and took the time to make sure our experience here was the best! Highly recommend!!

Happy to have ended up here for a fantastic breakfast on Saturday when the place nearby we intended to eat at was full. Staff quickly put together a big table for us, our friends and two kids. Food and coffees were prompt and delicious. Can highly recommend the bacon and egg roll on a charcoal bun with mersey valley cheese - yum! Friends were also impressed with their selections. Will return!
