Tried this cozy joint whilst in the area. Never heard of this place before but loved the look of it from pictures on Google so thought I'd give it a go. Lovely staff, the girls on the Friday morning were lovely and attentive and made me feel so welcome. Glad to see Single Origin on the menu! My Rwanda long black was sweet, fruity and well balanced. Thanks barista! Food on the menu looked simple but super delicious that I couldn't choose just one thing! In the end my dishes were very comforting on a chilly winter morning. Liked the fig toast with ricotta , but loved the green scrambled eggs even more. Definitely recommend this place for food and coffee. Thanks guys for making my Friday morning lovely :)

Really delicious. Had the big breakfast and eggs on toast and it was faultless. Coffee is good too! Edit: I’ve taken my review from 4 to 3 stars. All the waitresses have disappeared and the menu has changed dramatically since the first few times I went. Not sure what happened... it’s not as good now.

I love this place and frequent here regularly. I'll admit that there was a bit of a rough patch a while back (I think it had just changed hands?) but I cannot fault these guys for making a real effort and consistently improving both their food and service. The coffee has always been a strong point and their menu is now a good meld of classic options and more experimental specials. Staff are quite friendly without being over the top. I wouldn't take more than 4 people as it's quite small but there is outdoor seating that catches the morning sun (good place to take a book)
