The Fudge Shop

Been going past for years but it all looked too rich. Highly recommended by nearby café that I frequent so spoke to staff about some gift packs for Xmas. Same afternoon Adam, the Manager, rang me, we organised things, and everything was ready and waiting and gift wrapped when I fronted. Great customer service, great fudge, highly recommended.

Am sure when I got the fudge a few months back it was actually not too bad. I didn't mind it at all as a quick fix or my go to. Today I got the plain fudge, a Turtle and the peanut brittle. The peanut brittle is really good! Would never likely get a Turtle again and as for the plain fudge its a tad on the "sickly sweet" side for me at the moment. Am hoping tomorrow it will be a better experience. The BEST fudge handsdown I have ever had is, or was, actually made in Brisbane by a woman that use to have a stall in this market place until something collapsed - the building roof above it. Absolutely moreish and decadent to a fault. I really wish she would sell it again and market it nationwide. With The Fudge Shop it must depend on who makes it at the time as well as the season, but today it was not a real hit for me.

The fudge shop has the best caramel apples. I would repeatedly go back just to buy them. I have tried 5 flavors of the fudge...so far. Apricot & Caramel were delicious. Chocolate & Jamaican Rum were unfortunately not to my liking & Tia Maria Coffee was okay. I will try other flavors in the future. I do recommend this shop & whats nice is that everything is made on site & you can watch if you want.
