Thai Terrific

A genuine authentic thai restaurant cooked and staffed by a small team of Thai people, brings the feeling closer to home. The food is exceptional which raises the question why the place isn't fully packed of customer. Customer service is top of the class with the surrounding environment enhanced the experience with a gentle and soft classical music. My experience while dining here has been superb and would recommend to anyone who is in town. If you want a real authentic taste of Thai crusine, get yourself a great meal here.

Very clean, cosy and great customer service; as for the food I ordered the chicken satay. At first glance I was a little hesitant at the price however the portion size was large making it a very well priced entree. The chicken was cooked superb and I was left scooping up the satay sauce. As for the main the chicken Choo Chee was a real winner for me, fresh vegetables, chicken cooked perfectly and the sauce felt like there was a party in my mouth!! This will be my new place to go whilst on business

Vegetables were so fresh that I asked if they grew their own! (No: the owner buys from the market daily.) Service was friendly and efficient. The brown rice was a perfect texture. Music seemed an odd choice: some hip hop, some pop--nothing Thai. They took our credit card, but there was no place on the check for tip.... Too bad: it was deserved, and we carry no cash.

So i order take away crisp pork belly and only to receive charcoal pork belly. Couldn't taste the pork at all. I only ate the vegetables which defeated the purpose as i didn't want vegetables. My 2nd take away was stir fry vegetable with prawn and i received plenty of vegetables with 2 prawn, ARE THEY JOKING? I won't order from them. I had better Thai Terrific meals from other area but this one is a joke, they need to review themselves and their Chef.

We unfortunately had the worst experience here. My Fiance & I both ordered the Pad Thai and it was terrible. They for some reason make the sauce with Soy Sauce (i have never seen it made this way before), and the prawns were whole (with head, eyes, legs, tail, veins) and it was work jus to eat it, not to mention they were SUPER fishy and my Fiance accidentally popped one of their eyes sending brown liquid spewing into her noodles (we both gagged and set our forks down, paid and went to dinner elsewhere).

I’ve lived for 10 years in Potts Point and tried almost all the various take-away and restaurants, locally. I have only just discovered ThaiTerrific and have realised this is not the same as many Thai places. This restaurant is consistently excellent with their food, service and atmosphere. It’s not noisy or too busy, it’s wonderfully calm and even romantic.

I am afraid that I have to say it was the most terrible Thai disch that I have ever had. Even there was almost no customers in the restaurant(means they have time and energy yet), the fried noodle was so salty with too much of oyster sauce, could not feel anything but the sauce's taste. Tom yang kung soup, which I ordered agian with a bit more expectation, was just boiled too long and just felt salty. Sorry but I would say they could do better with this simple Thai cuisines. So disappointed.
