Exquisite menu. We tried both the brunch and the dinner menus and we have been very happy with both. The food is decedent, the service is impeccable and the views are outstanding. The restaurant inside a heritage cottage with lots of it perseverance from yesteryear. Can not recommend this restaurant enough 💕

Sensational food with a great atmosphere and location. The truffle mash took us back to Antoine's Grill years ago and the Barramundi pie was also a highlight. You will not be disappointed with the food. Service could be improved as the staff seemed new but overall it was still a pleasant experience and deserving of 5 stars. We'll definitely be returning.

TL;DR: Great food but terrible service. A very beautiful establishment serving delicious food. The interiors of the building add to the experience. A round of applause to the cooks because the food was great. We had the Cottage Florentine, Farmer's basket, and crab omelette to name a few. All were spectacular. The juice and coffee included were subpar, unfortunately. So why the three stars, which in my honest opinion is generous but I'll explain the extra star towards the end. In a dining experience, food isn't the only thing that matters. Table service counts. The Bellevue Cottage seems to have missed the memo on that. For an establishment that seems to market themselves as a more high-end brunch, I was not expecting to order my food through a QR code. Call me a princess but when I am paying for service, I naturally would expect it. As a matter of fact, a family in the adjacent table had an issue with it as well. From what I heard, it was due to a shortage in staff while three other staff members were in the same room, consider that anecdotal in their defense. While I could go on and write more about minor issues we had, I think I should leave it at that. I hope this will prompt management to reconsider this QR code ordering system (make it optional at least). As promised, the third star is for the toilet, which I found to be one of the highlights of my visit here. Beautiful space.

Beautiful dining experience with palate pleasing well presented food. Thet were clearly short staffed on the Saturday night we went, but they didn't rush or push you to order more drinks or wine. 3 course set menu on Friday and Saturday night only, it is good value for the meal, and you don't need to order sides (like we did). We were there at 6:25 and finished dinner at 9:00 (we also had one slow eater) The warm picholine and olive tapenade with garlic baguette was a nice appetiser, it is bursting with flavour and filling - they voice plenty of tapenade. The sweet corn and bell pepper veloute is the stand out of the entrees, it tastes very decadent for a vegetarian entree. The tartare was good too. We all had the signature barrundi pie, it is big, the use of shitake mushrooms brings nice textures and depth to the dish, there was just the right amount of herbs to the dish without it being overpowering. There is salt and pepper on the table (but I didn't see any need for either). Of the three desserts we tried the best is the coconut curd. It is light and refreshing and I love the crunch from the toasted sesame. The goat cheese bavarois is essentially a deconstructed cheesecake and it is good too. Fondant was a little over cooked... Wasn't as gooey as they should be.
