Settlement On Quay

Took my money on an order ahead app but did not prepare food. Told when I arrived that they're not accepting orders via app which clearly they are. Wasted my time AND gave me attitude. Haven't been trolled in real life before. First time for everything. Emailed the manager who complained about the order ahead app company they had contracted with. 🤦

We loved everything about this restaurant: plenty of seating choice, inside and outside, good and healthy food choices and excellent service. The location is also great, close to the harbour but out of range of loud noise from traffic, construction sites and harbour activities. Friends had chosen this as being worth a try and so we were all impressed as foodies with the results. It is the sort of restaurant with the potential to become a fave place at which to eat.

I've been going here on and off for two years and felt like it was time to give a review after numerous bad experiences. I have a few points that hopefully the owners will take note of. Cons: - I've consistently had terrible take away service, no eye contact whatsoever, rarely a good attitude, you nearly always seem like their lowest priority. Seems like a work culture problem. - You will usually experience long wait times for take away food even when it is not very busy. - Food quality is inconsistent. I've experienced numerous times where the food was just not good at all. My most recent experience being a breakfast burrito that tasted like the lifelong scraps of the frying pan. Just not good enough. Pros: - Coffee is good
