White Taro

Amazing customer service ! Very friendly staff. Food was great, ordered a granola bowl and veggie platter. Poached eggs were runny and well cooked. Preferred my ice coffee with less shaved ice, but nonetheless was sweet and tasty. Backyard seating was super chill on a weekday morning . They have a cute little flower wall in the backyard, perfect for photos. If you're looking for a place to chill, this cosy cafe sets the vibe !

Fantastic food with friendly smiling service. The location is super convenient (on a quiet street in Surry Hills and so close to Central Station)and decor is simple yet stylish. We ordered a variety of dishes and their flavours, textures and presentation were excellent for the price. Nice portion sizes and nutritious too!

Croissants fresh from the oven is reason enough to kick off your day at White Taro. Perfectly poached eggs is another. Great coffee is a bonus. But where White Taro shines is with the attitude of the staff and attention to the little details such as fresh flowers on the table. An absolute delight! I'll be back

Hands down one of the best burgers ive had at a cafe. The chips are substantial and filling, not fluffy full of air. The patty was fresh, generously large and perfectly medium rare as all great beef burgers should be. Super cozy setting with great music. Keep blasting that Bruno Mars, Fergie and Queen.

The flame grilled chicken baguette was really difficult to eat, but was really good nonetheless. The order took a really long time but in compensation they were very kind and gave us a chocolate brownie for waiting, as well as extra fries when we received our meals! The deconstructed banh mi was fine, but might be easier to eat if it wasn't deconstructed :p their chai latte is average, nothing amazing but it is fine.
