Zensation Teahouse

Zensation was SENSATIONAL. The tea & food was incredible, but the service was what really took the cake. Raymond and Ada run a beautiful Tea House and truly involve their guests in a one-on-one experience that allows you to take the time to appreciate all the culture and atmosphere they have to offer. The vegetarian options are fantastic, making all those in our party walk away truly satisfied. Can’t wait to come back and take in some Zen.

A TEA LOVER’S HEAVEN. Tea done right. If you are looking for some high quality Uncle Iroh from Avatar the Last Airbender tea, this is the place. Staff was ten out of five stars, and Tea Master Raymond was indeed a master of tea. They make you feel welcomed and like family. It’s not just tea, it’s an experience. I HIGHLY recommend doing a tea ceremony to learn about the culture and (one of) the proper ways of serving tea.

An absolute gem. Zensation Tea House is such a special place with authentic character and charm. This family run business is a blessing on Sydney. The lovely family we met were so kind, generous and welcoming - such a delight. The food is incredible and the tea so aromatic and relaxing. My highlight was the shallot pancake with chili sauce, red bean mochi, almond shortbread and lychee and mango tea choices. I can't wait to try the tea we bought to take home! With so many vegetarian and vegan options this experience was even more special, thank you so much! If we could, we would have bought so many more gifts from their beautiful selection of tea pots, jewellery, incense and so much more. We finally found the perfect place for unique gifts we know will be treasured.

Love visiting Zensation Tea House. Love the decor, Zen vibe and ambience. Excellent service provided by Ada and Tea Master Raymond. A large variety of tea and teaware. Not sure what tea you like to drink? Book a tea tasting session with Raymond or have a chat with Ada and Raymond, they will be able to recommend tea, dimsims, dumplings and dessert for you to try. One of my favourite tea is the Milky Oolong Tea. Would recommend the Mochi and green tea ice cream. Starting to get serious with tea and want to lean more? Raymond also conducts a 'Tea Ceremony & Sommelier Course', giving you the knowledge of tea, the philosophy of Chinese Tea Ceremony and methods to present tea. Want a relaxing tea experience? AMAZING! I cannot recommend this Tea House enough. I chose this venue as part of my partner's birthday celebration and I am so pleased with the whole experience. Lovely quirky ambience, very clean and neat. The food is delicious (make sure to try the home made chilli oil) and very fresh. The tea menu is extensive and Raymond took a lot of time guiding us through the options we had and explaining how the tea is best served during the tea ceremony. He was also very gracious and explained to us Chinese calligraphy and gave us a beautiful demonstration. Prices are very reasonable and there is a 2 hour street parking available in the nearby streets. Highly recommended for a week or weekend lunch! You won't regret it :) Thanks again Ada, Raymond and Goldie for having us :) you made it such a special event!
