Honkas Bar + Eats

The food was absolutely delicious! But what made me even happier was the amazing service. The staff is so friendly. I felt very welcome and comfortable. I was not rushed at all, which I feel happens a lot in Sydney. I could really enjoy the food. Also the venue itself is lovey with a nice little courtyard. I highly recommend this place!

Alright spot with nice food and drinks. Servings are kinda small so make sure you get a lot of each thing if you're hungry. The bao are tasty and the salmon was alright... But was more empty plate than salmon. Tastiest were the crunchy won ton things. Drinks were alright too and topped off with super friendly and fun waiters.

Enjoyed the dishes pictured for their 90 minute "free flow food yum cha". This isn't the usual yum cha you'd get, so don't go in expecting traditional yum cha. My favourite of the lot would definitely be the baos (so so good), rice paper rolls (super refreshing) and their karaage chicken. I really like the vibes of this place too! Came here for a Cocktails+ Dumpling Making Class. One of the best event experiences I have had while in Sydney. The instructors made it fun, the people were good and the food was amazing and nothing was rushed. Also a very nice outside area for drinking and eating and the bartenders were very skilled! 10/10
