Dinner was nice and tasty. Unlimited refills for side dishes. Meat quantity came out more than expected compared to other places. Meat was juicy. Ordered pork jowl and the wagyu platter. It nice that it was a charcoal grill which gave the meat more flavour than using electric or gas stoves. Smoke wasn’t much of a problem and didn’t come out smelling like bbq.

This KBBQ restaurant offers a big meat menu but also many different Korean dishes. Very suitable for big groups. The meat is good. The raw beef is super yummy and I really enjoyed the japchae as well. On the slightly expensive side, but considering location and menu, there is something for everyone. Definitely make a booking.

Very unprofessional and unfriendly staff!! My wife & I went there for lunch today. Firstly, we were requested to order minimum 2 beef plates. My wife doesn’t eat beef. Secondly, they didn’t bring in enough charcoal! Almost half of the BBQ was empty (see photo). We couldn’t cook the Spicy Baby Octopus after trying for 30min! We couldn’t eat it and left it on the table. We made a comment about it to the cashier, but they rudely ignored it. We barely managed to cook the beef.

Kogi may be a little more pricey compared to many other KBBQ restaurants but the quality of produce shines. If you find the experience of cooking on your own a bit intimidating, the staff here regularly circle the tables and help cook your meat if you need the help. Make a booking as it gets busy and take advantage of free parking at Market City if you dine after 6pm.

Service was great! And it was nice and clean. Food quality was also really good! If you're looking for a place to go with a group, book a table here. We ordered two different platters and when split between 6-8 people it's not pricey (about $30). Unless you have drinks but water is free! They also offer different korean alcohols and the standard soda selection. There is a limit on time with bigger groups but it was plenty of time (we were there for about 2hrs) to cook the food and sit around and chat.
