Taste Baguette

Always walk pass this place while shopping in East Village but never try this until a friend of mine was having their Baguette and they say it taste good. So came here with her recommendation and order the Fennel rusted Roast Pork Baguette with brie, lettuce, rocket, honey mustard mayo. The roast pork was tasty with crispy skin. Paired with a big slice of brie and very crusty and tasty baguette it was yummy. The Pastries and cake on display looks good would want to come back again to try more things here.

Saw the massive lines outside and thought this place must be good. We wanted to buy coffees to go and take to have for the park. Don’t go here for coffees. It was so weak. Not a good representation of what the campos coffee beans are like. Milky. Stingy on the beans! Improve team. Never coming here again. Shame as I enjoyed Taste Baguette decades ago when I worked near Darling Square/Tumbalong Park.

Great coffee and awesome food all round, especially their baquettes. The reason i don't give it 5 stars is i find the young asian girl working this afternoon to be arrogant, I've never seen her smile, her customer service skills needs to be greatly improved. Today is the 6th or 7th time i have seen her arrogance on display, causing me to write this review.

Taste Baguette at East Village Zetland is my go-to – really, I’ve been coming here every morning since July 2017 (that’s 1,400 cups of coffee!) so I know what I’m talking about. Why? Yes, the Campos coffee is awesome but it’s the Princess of Zetland, the one and only ‘Da’ that keeps coming back every morning without fail. My day wouldn’t be the same without a shot of Da – just love her to bits!!!
