Guylian Belgian Chocolate Cafe

Guylian Belgian Cafe is a great cafe to visit for breakfast or midday snack, their coffee and drinks are perfect with the right consistency and right flavour, their store is quite small but extends into the apartment building next door and their raisin custard swirl is perfect when warmed up which you can ask the staff to do so. The only downside is that the staff can be slightly rude depending on their moods, been here multiple times and have been served with great enthusiasm but have also been served with the can’t be bothered attitude. However overall a must visit

Take a dark nugget of slinky chocolate, mix one teaspoon of roasted coconut, add a hot milky chocolate mix and you have a little taste of delight. Combine with a Belgian waffles with vanilla ice cream and a hefty apologetics of chocolate. This is chocolate heaven. Try it while looking out over the town hall at sunset .

Located on George Street, just down the hill from Town Station. Nice modern place for a coffee and a snack. Especially something sweet… Lots of indoor seating. Pleasant atmosphere. Staff super friendly. Coffee was great… and the Blueberry Muffin was delicious. Some of those cakes on display look soooo tempting. Maybe next time 😜😜

Very busy & in a great location. Variety of sandwiches & pies, cakes, sweet pastries, biscuits etc. The prices are great considering the location except for the cake slices which are extremely overpriced - I haven’t tried them yet, they look great but the portions are very small. I’ve tried the muffins and some of the sweet pastries n they were always very fresh. Service is very polite n quick & the store and tables are presentable and clean . I was disappointed with the mocha ,very plain - u can barely taste any chocolate let alone Belgian chocolate! 4 stars coz the service is always friendly and helpful especially when it comes to choosing !

A friend of mine bought tarts from this place for my birthday; they were so, so good and amazingly presented! My favourite is the lemon and meringue one, it makes your stomach feel well full. I liked also the strawberry one. We didn’t liked much the third type bought but to be honest I don’t know which flavour was, I couldn’t tell. But the others were perfect and made my day.
