Bowan Island Bakery

Overpriced for subpar food. When going to a bakery, your mind immediately goes to pastry perfection and waves of savoury flavour. Sadly this place just does not meet the cut, as much as the staff are cordial. The pies and sausage rolls are reminiscent of the late 90s to early 2000s grungy, service station road trips (and I'm being generous in saying that also). Just the lack of flavour and poorly lamented and baked pastry is less than desired. In my humble opinion if you're looking for something to satiate your pie needs, please look elsewhere as this is not it.

My Mocha was so nice , drank to the very bottom usually I'll get coffee where it's too much chocolate on the bottom. The Bowan Brekkie was simply delicious , mushrooms was my fave from the dish. I chose my eggs scrambled and other choices were also a fried egg or poach. Was happy with the service and the quality of my brekkie plate.

This place has the WORST service ever. I asked for dairy free scrambled eggs due to a dairy allergy, to be told “we are too busy for that”. We have two kids and the place is full of them. Only two high chairs available and our daughter sat in a shopping trolley to eat. Bread was the size of a fly and overcooked. This place needs an overhaul. Overall the food standard and customer service is below standard and would not recommend it
