Parlour Burger

We popped in for a few beers and some appetizers considering the lackluster reviews for the burgers. The chicken lollipops were actually decent (I wanted to hate them but I didn’t), the onion rings were OK and the fried pickle breading was kinda mushy. The price was low for the area. We could have used some more dipping sauces. Bathrooms were good. Oh and the only burger that is $10 (as advertised on the side of the building) is the mushroom burger 🙄

Very bad. Parlour Burger started off with a 20 minute wait at lunchtime despite there being nobody else waiting for food. The Southern Fried Chicken burger contained very little chicken, see pic attached. The Double Dirty burger looked fine but the “cheesy beer sauce” tasted neither like beer nor like cheese; it just tasted unpleasant. Additionally, the beef mix does not have enough fat in it. The bacon on the burger was good, the chips were very good and the staff were pleasant. Nevertheless, these were two of the worse burgers we’ve had recently and we won’t be returning. $45 for two people, including one beer.

Probably one of the worst burgers we have had in Sydney. We got two burgers with tons of mustard, a wierd tasting patty and a pickle. I asked for a burger without pickles, but I found a pickle in mine anyway. Also one of the most expensive meals we have had. I would not eat here again. Very noisy small bar place as well. The fries was okay though.

Ordered the crispy chicken burger and apple/cabbage slaw. The slaw was fine. It has nuts in, which was an interesting twist. But the chicken burger wasn't the best. Slightly chewy chicken, and no way close to being crispy! I could barely notice any breading on the fillet. To the poster who said they have great ketchup - I agree
