Legendary Fish And Chips

Came here a couple of times. I've tried the battered flathead, sweet potato and fish burger. The fish was cooked fresh and came out nicely. I enjoyed the fish burger meal which was nice and filling, with a good serving of chips. I did like the crunch and taste of the battered sweet potato, though it was a bit oily. They do get you to wait outside after ordering - calling your name over the speakers outside. Would be good if they spoke a little louder or turned up the volume as it can be hard to hear with the noise of the vehicles passing by on the Prince's Highway. Service is good though and I would come back here again in future. :)

The place lives us to its name! Really fresh fish and the chips are highly underrated. Pro tip - you hardly save anything if you go for the pre-selected combos. I suggest customising your order as everything is sharply priced. If you insist on a combo, it has to be the sublime pack. Tricky parking as its on the highway.

Simply legendary! One of the best and most freshest fish & chips I have ever had a chance to eat. This place does not disappoint and lives up to its name in all respects. The batter was so crispy, golden and cooked to perfection. On the inside the fish simply melts in your mouth, you can literally taste the freshness. I also ordered the calamari which I really recommend as well... The home made seasoning added a really nice touch and they were also cooked to absolute perfection! This place is an absolute gem on the side of the Princess Highway - a must try!!!

Little fish and chips shop run by father daughter duo. We had such a lovely time after a hike at royal national park. Bought the fisherman's basket and a pack of grilled scallops. Everything was so crispy and hot like in the picture. Chunky chips were different and so good. Fresh food made to order and very friendly staff and run so well on a public holiday too! Definitely coming back next time in town.

Great teamwork & a clean shop help to make this busy fish & chip shop a worthwhile stop. The batter crispy & light on a firm piece of fish that had a neutral taste as did the crispy perfectly fried chips. Overall not bad, the lack of flavour my reason for the 4 stars. The shop also has a general store corner with the essentials, handy for locals or travelers on the busy highway at Waterfall.
