The Honest Chicken

Great value for money, service and quality! Being a family of 4 and watching a tight budget, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to feed the family cheaper than what it would have been to buy from the supermarket and cook at home. We don't treat ourselves regularly to take out but will be doing this more often for sure! A quick shout out also to the quality of the food which was generally above average......and those chips!!!

No problem with the food, it’s generally pretty good. However today I asked when there would be more of a certain dish ready & was told by the teenager behind the counter “ no more today “ No apology, no attempt at customer service. Going back 15 minutes later I was told ( different person) “ yes fine won’t be long”. So yes I got our dinner but wonder why you employ people who don’t have any idea of their products & NO idea of customer service.

20170708 - The company where I work has been buying anywhere between 60-80 of their rolls every ~2 weeks for the past 6 months (probably more). Then they sell them to their staff at a discounted price at lunch time. It's supposed to be some sort of perk of working with this company. We continue to get these up to this day so it's safe to assume none of the staff members complained. I can't comment on the price, their staff or their restaurant, so I'll just mention their food. First of all, when meat is included, they add a generous amount of it! I tried out the chicken gravy (considering how simple it is, I enjoyed it, both with and without the gravy; see photo), chicken schnitzel (I recommend trying it, they place the right mix of stuff in there; see photo) and probably vegetarian. 4 stars instead of 5, because I don't know: how the restaurant looks, their pricing or staff attitude. Perhaps one day I'll have the pleasure of eating at their store.
