Mecca Coffee

Was really disappointed with my coffee. Rushed, burnt milk, took so long to cool down and in the end wasn’t drinkable. Went straight to Gumption nearby. This isn’t my first time at Mecca and was good last time but this time coffee was so bad, giving 3 stars for the variability of my experience. Friendly good customer service.

High quality espresso based drinks in downtown Sydney. Pretty limited seating available and the shop is geared more towards takeaway. Coffee: 4:5 stars Food: 4 stars Service: 4 stars Recommendations: White coffee (latte, cap, flat white, etc) Service is quite efficient and you will get your drink shortly after ordering. Good place to go for a quick coffee on your way to the office. They do serve a nitro cold brew here as well. Not the best I've had but definitely better than average. This can be pretty nasty if not done right. The food menu here is really a concise list of toasts and simple brunch items. I had the Mecca bowl which is a bed of quinoa topped with avocado, egg, spinach, and sweet potato. The dish sounds light but it is really filling. Pretty tasty for a vegan friendly type of dish.
