Voulez Vous

Loved this place when it opened so tried it again... a lot has changed, do not rate it. Food comes out completely different to menu description. Salmon on a bed of sweet potato...rather on cold carrots.with a piece of broccoli. And 3 out of 5 meals were like this. Also the chef unlocked the door on the toilet on one of us...if it is engaged, it's engaged. Did get 50 % off two meals though. Not returning.

Amazing coffee and very friendly service. I was on the street changing shoes to get on my motorcycle. The owner approached me offering a free coffee as they had just opened today. He was so friendly that I couldn't refuse. I'm glad I took him up on the offer. The coffee was amazing and they have this special Colombian sugar that made it even better. Highly recommended!

Friendly staff, unusual menu, fresh ingredients and nice surroundings. I was in and out pretty quickly and didn't have any wine but the entree I had (meze sharer) and main (saach) were both really good. Will hopefully be back and try the wine and desert options with a bigger group. Note, options are quite meat heavy, which suited me fine :-)

After walking by Voulez Vous a a number of times I finally decided to go for dinner. I assumed that it would have stronger French influences given the name. The menu is quite a broad range of influences from Europe, which was a little disappointing since I had expected French. The food itself was good, some dishes boardering onto great. The prawns and Tuna were spot on. Potions did feel a little small for the price. A couple sitting near us had a seafood platter that looked very impressive and I have not had Chevapi since moving to Sydney. Will give Voulez Vous another try with different expectations.

Had a reservation using a Groupon voucher. Worst mistake. Got turned away and it was 8.30pm. They came up with an unbelievable excuse that we had to make a reservation more than 24hrs in advance. Owner said its in the fine print; showed him the fine print and there was nothing there regarding that. Unprofessional, dodgy and just a big fail on their part.

Voulez Vous serves Modern Australian and European dining in the heart of Surry Hills. It's located next to the ever so talked about, Butter Sydney. You may have walked past Voulez Vous without even knowing. The interior is designed by architects in Milan to bring the class and culture of Europe to Sydney, and wow it definitely does not disappoint. They have a 4K TV which is dedicated to being a "fish tank" for crying out loud! The presentation at Voulez Vous does not disappoint. When this was brought out to the table, not only did I think to myself "how on earth am I going to finish that", but I was amazed at how colourful and nicely presented a plate of sausages could look. Chevapi is popular in Matt's family he knew exactly what to expect. It is very hard to explain, but the chevapi is full of herbs which make it full it flavour. It is especially great when you add that VV sauce to the mix again, proving to be again a dipping sauce for anything and everything.
