I reckon I have been here on probably 50 occasions over the years. Its kind of generic aussie-fied asian cuisine of nondescript origin but its always fresh and tasty and almost always quick friendly service. They are usually busy, but also usually suitably staffed, and they are flexible about requests with seating and orders and really great with kids. If there are any delays or hassles they are usually gracious and responsive. Manager is usually there too, in control of things, and nice guy. Its just an easy nice feed and good vibes. Recommended.

DO NOT GO THERE! My partner and l mistakenly came here for New Years Eve dinner and we regret it. DON’T BE DECEIVED BY THE RATINGS! There was no welcoming greeting when we arrived. It was not advised anywhere that the best way to get a seat is to book in advance. After some time, we were finally seated and ordered some food and a beverage. We received the ‘New Years Eve’ SET MENU and thought that there were good deals on there so we went off that. The staff were very persistent that we ordered ASAP even though we were obviously not ready to order yet. We ordered the vege puffs, chicken pad thai, pink lemonade and beef satay noodles (separately). Even though the filling of the veggie puffs were alright, they were the smallest curry puffs that we have ever eaten. The chicken pad thai was decent but we have tried nicer elsewhere. The satay noodles tasted so burnt that l could not eat it. We thought that beverages would be served in a jug but l was surprised that we only received 1 cup of pink lemonade. After looking through the normal daily menu, l realised that it was cheaper to buy everything individually than to go off the ‘New Years Eve’ SET MENU. We paid by cash so we could get 5% off the overall price. When we went to the counter to pay, we were charged $57.50. The cashier did not provide a reasonable explanation for why the ‘New Years Eve’ SET MENU costed more than purchasing items individually so we decided to speak with the manager. After speaking to him, he ‘calculated’ the price of each individual item ordered. It came to $49.95 even though we were only supposed to pay $49 instead. WHAT A SCAM! I’d give this restaurant 0 stars if l could! The location was beautiful but we walked out of the restaurant appalled. Extremely disappointed with the overall experience. NOT returning back.

Amazing cuisines at Dee Why beach front! My family & I have been visiting this place for lunch & dinner for years. Great value, tasty meals, good service & top location. After spending half a day or full day at Dee Why beach , have lunch or dinner at Dee Why Beach Wockbar is a must! Everything on the menu is nice, yummy & good value.

When you ask for tofu instead of meat, they say yes, but food is just vegetable without tofu. Happened 3 times already. So I had to go for one and only option with tofu in menu and it is Buddha vege stir fry noodles. Just eating plain noodles with vegetable now. Will never ever order here again. This is f... joke.
