Nourished

I've been to this cafe on and off for a few years, but won't be going again. Two ham and cheese toasties cost $26. The "cheese" was almost non existent, and the ham wasn't anything special (processed), and there was only one small, single slice in each. When I questioned the price, I was dismissed and curtly told that is was not a menu item. Guess that means they can charge whatever they like. Guess it would have been helpful to know this while ordering!

Bustling cafe. Ordered the mushroom madness. Expected two mushrooms as per photos of others on instagram but received one mushroom that was split into two. Added Smoked Trout which was nice. Please be wary that their menu prices online are not reflective of the actual cafe prices. Menu stated $7 for the smoke trout, but was charged $12. For $12 of Smoked trout, you would expect it to be a sizeable portion. However, the side portion was very small and not good value.

Delicious food with lots of fantastic vegan, veg, dairy free, gluten free option. Decently priced and tastes good. Vegan burger was very filling but the sweet potato wedges as a side are grilled not deep fried which is healthier. Salmon was rly lovely with generous amount of avocado. There is a 10% surcharge on public holidays.

Travelled to Avalon on Tues 5th March 2019 from Western Sydney. I had the Cajun chicken Super Salad, and my daughter had the Quinoa Falafel Wrap. Best cafe meal we have had. The before and nearly finished bowl of the Super Salad explains it all. There was so much more chicken, avocado, nuts, sweet potato, tomato, salad to still eat. Unheard of in most cafes. The service and people who worked there were great, friendly and polite. Have recommended your place to friends already.
