U Bean Grounded Cafe

Fancy an early morning cup of joe with chocolate (aka mocha)... I was so pleased to find this charming little cafe tucked away next to a cobblestone walkway which also services as a lovely place to sit down have coffee cakes or any other tasty morsels. I tried the mocha and specifically asked for no sugar.. therefore my mocha was nice creamy and not overly sweet. I bought a blueberry muffin it was lovely and moist and a white chocolate and raspberry muffin... unfortunately the muffins I tasted - were not fresh, despite being told they were.. therefore it's best to make sure to ask the staff is this 100% today's muffin and tasted on the spot and if you are slightly unsure give it back and get your money back . Most cafe owners or staff will give you your money back and apologize ... however if they don't give your money back you have perfect grounds to post a review on that fact on Google reviews. If you're not fussy like I am... the muffins are ok but I am a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to FRESH muffins and a good mocha. The service is friendly and the cobblestone area where you eat your food is cute (if you like cobblestone walkways and the fact that it was tucked away in a cute and quiet little nook)I did not try the hot items on the menu on this occasion -therefore I am reviewing based upon the mocha and the Muffins which I tasted. Prices are mot overly expensive and is mid-range.

Glad i stumbled onto this place. Best Coffee in Ultimo, they use Pablo & Rusty Beans. The coolest thing is they have $2 happy hour between 2-3pm Mon to Friday!! Definitely a must, to come visit this small quaint cafe with friendly staff :) Love the location oh and it's ALL DAY BREAKFAST??? Awesome!!!

WOW! What an absolutely gorgeous place! The atmosphere is heavenly, the courtyard was just devine to sit and sunbask with being services such amazing food from efficient and friendly staff. The quality and quantity is great for it's value. I had the Eggs Benedict and it was just perfection, would highly recommend coming here again, ohh and the Coffee!! Best coffee in Ultimo :)
