There's not many options when you're vegan and hungover AF at 8 in the morning. This is definitely one of them. There was a critical decision to be made this early. Vegan breakfast muffins or pant based whopper. Looking at the sad looking veggie pattie on the muffin it was pretty clear. I had very little to no expectations for this burger. When I bit into it though it all changed. It was excellent. Excellent for a place like HJs. The mayo, sauce, pickles gave it that distinct HJs taste and the (beyond!?) pattie was nice as usual. I love it when vegan alternatives are almost at parity with their dirty meat counterparts. Punching above your weight. Will be back.

Although our burgers tasted fine, they barely resembled the images on the menu. The grill masters pulled beef & angus burger had a real grilled taste, however even though it is meant to be stacked with premium pulled beef, we were hard pressed to find any in our burger. The Big Jack is a limited edition burger. It is fairly small, but includes a lot of tasty sauce.
