I love their place in Petersham but my experience in their newly opened café un Surry Hills today was very mediocre: the burger buns were clearly stale bread and everything felt quite oily. The service was ok but a bit amateurish and really slow even if there was only 4 other customers. Coffee was not good, watery macadamia latte on burnt coffee.
I hope I was just unlucky but it does not make me want to try this place again...

Cafe Nowa is more than just great vegan food. It is an experience for your senses. Vegan food with a Nepalese flavour. The curry and skewers are a definite must have! Will come back time after time.

I have frequently visited the cafe in petersham and the warmth of the staff are great and the food is exciting with flavours. Now that I have a second cafe to attend the food is delicious and I have tried every menu they have put out in petersham. So I'm looking forward to have many more meals in this new restaurant at surry hills. Thanks guy's for tantalizing my taste buds.

Very nice vegan food. I went on their opening day and had the veggie burger and satay skewers which were really good.

No longer vegan. They have not communicated this and this Surry Hills location is not vegan anymore. Management changed
Petersham still is - go there.
