Food is pretty good, but not great considering what you pay. Best part was the fresh spring rolls. I had chicken pad thai and my partner had prawn green curry. The curry was amazing. Drinks were good. Staff were good.

I always had great experiences at Chat Thai branches so I was pleased to see one when I strolled around Westfield one afternoon. This place is tucked away in the corner of the food court below Myer. Came here around lunch time and it was pretty busy, but it didn’t take long for the food to arrive. Tried their beef pad see ew today and was impressed. Look forward to try other things on my next visit.

Consistently delicious Thai food. Absolutely loved the prawn, pepper and garlic dish I ordered. Service was quick and friendly despite being a Sunday lunch.

After ordering we were told one of our choices were no longer available. Otherwise it was a good experience and nice food. I'd go back if in the area. I like the fact it's on level 6 which is less crowded than the frenetic food court.

Crying Tiger: 3/5 stars - where was the flavour? It was necessary to smother each piece of beef in the sauce, and there wasn't enough of it. Have had a lot better; the texture was a little tough too instead of tender and chewy Pad Si Ew with Chicken: 5/5 - delicious. It's hard to go wrong with this dish, but for some reason this one seemed exceptionally fragrant, and the chicken weren't your typically drier, harder pieces Red Duck Curry: 4.5/5 - tasty again; adequate meat in the duck pieces and not too heavy on the skin/fat thankfully, with a good amount of vegetables including juicy lychee (it's rare for other toppings to be satisfying like this). Flavour hits the spot too, but the sweetness shone through (maybe because the spices/other flavours weren't AS strong) Soft-Shell Crab Papaya Salad: 4.5/5 - predictable, classic flavour. Good proportion of other toppings to papaya shreds too; roasted peanuts were fragrant, beans a good texture, tomatoes a nice pop. Best of all, the soft-shell crab was generous; at least 4 whole halves, which were crispy and soaked up the tangy dressing - quite spicy -- much more so than expected. It wasn't too bad, just made the salad too intense to smash like I wanted to (lol) Crab Omelette: 4.5/5 - crispy, Maillard reaction tastiness, with good serving size once again. Crab and egg (inner parts of the omelette) were substantial and delicious, but there were rather too many fried bits for my liking that were only dry, unenjoyable batter/crumb Chargrilled Pig Jowls (Khor Mhu Yaang): 3.5/5 - better than Crying Tiger, more fragrant with pork and chewy in texture, but still not amazing (perhaps even including the sauce...) Stir-Fried Rice Vermicelli with Prawn, Egg & Vegetables (Sen Mee Padt Goong): 4.5/5 - surprisingly tasty, yet comfortable to eat! Can see and taste the egg pieces. Extremely devourable Fried Dough Sticks with Pandan Custard (Par Tuhng Go): 4/5 - the donuts/X-shaped crullers weren't too heavy like my initial experience this time, with crisp yet chewy exteriors that gave way with one's bite to an airy, half-hollow centre. However, the pandan custard was just a bit on the bland side unfortunately, and could've been a tad sweeter too. Conclusion: Overall, not bad! Pitt Street's branch isn't as consistently good as Haymarket's, but its menu has grown to almost the same size (if not the same; unsure), so is a decent enough Thai food experience still. However, I would recommend Haymarket's over it still.

Okay experience, but I wouldn’t return again. The food is delicious but everything is quite salty (we all drank like an entire bottle of water!). The waiters are kind of rude, to be honest. They seemed pushy and we had to keep waving at them before they paid any attention to us - they seemed occupied but for no reason. Overall the food is great but everything else was disappointing.

We tried a bit of everything. It's my second time visiting a Chat Thai franchise. Busy restaurant, we were seated quite quickly. Food came a different times, but it was no problem at all, we ordered about 4 dishes between 3 of us. Everything was an absolute flavour bomb. Really exciting food. Fresh and flavoursome. We will be back at first chance. Thank you.
