Every moment spent in this beautiful Greek cafe this morning was fabulous.

This cafe is a gem of a place. We went this morning for the first time to get a juice and a coffee which tasted great and were very reasonably priced. Peter and Angela are lovely people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive, it's a very different experience to other coffee shops where you can feel like just a number. We'll definitely be back!

Panagiotis and Angela are excellent hosts and their Greek food tastes deliciously. The portions are very big and you can get stuffed if you order the big breakfast. The cafe is super cosy, next to a big tree, away from the traffic of cleveland. Large variety of dishes and desserts too. Make sure you try the homemade lentil soup and the chicken burger. Our family are regulars at this lovely cafe. I love the metaxi mas burger, my vego hubby loves the vego sandwich and the kids love the banana smoothies. The Greek platter has been a covid 19 take away lunch hit!

Ordered what was meant to be a spinach puff pastry with sauteed mushrooms and a salad, was told after we ordered that there was no mushrooms so they gave us canned champignon mushrooms, salad was not a salad at all 1 cut up tomato and a few bits of salad and no dressing! Spinach pastry was hard as a rock and unedible, to their credit they make beautiful coffee and I'm told usually great food also, so maybe it was just an off morning. Great atmosphere and excellent customer service.

Have been going to Metaxi Mas Cafe for over 10 years now. Peter & Angela have always made me feel like I’m part of their family. The food is made with love and Pete’s coffee is the best in town.
