Oporto

It’s Oporto so the food is bound to be good either way. But when we were here, we wanted to get some chips with our meal, & they tried to charge us $6 for a separate side of chips! They didn’t even offer to add it as a meal deal with the burger. You can get a large chips at Oporto for $1 so $6 is ridiculous.

Every time I go to Oporto I am made aware of how average the food and service is; the burgers are sloppy, and they charge you a dollar for a small serving of their terrible range of sauces. Also, their level of hotness of chilli is appealing; honestly a joke. I only find myself at Oporto after ten standard drinks or if it is the last resort .

Went to Oporto Broadway at around 10:30, bought 2 burgers and 1 chips and specifically requested for fresh chips. Rushed home because my husband is sick and upon coming home found that my chips is double fried old chips that I specifically requested not to get. Go back to the store, and the manager accused me of having gone for half an hour. I told him I could prove myself using my bank details because I paid by card. He thinks I'm stupid and couldn't tell apart fresh chips and old chips. Oporto, if you would hire a great manager maybe you won't have to be stuck with old chips in your store from not having customers in the first place.

Have been her several times out of convenience more than anything. However the last time I went here I got a double Bondi burger that was the most pathetic sorry looking thing imaginable. Slapped together with no care and with barely anything other than the patties themselves. Wish I had taken a photo to share as it was a shocker, especially considering they aren't particularly cheap. Never again.

Oporto is a very busy fast food restaurant. I like the taste and the way they served in Broadway is very nice. Also the staff are nice and friendly. I always asking a lot such as cut into 8 pieces, 4 cutlery and plates, also wet tissue. They are giving all of them to me with smile. Different with oporto in Darling harbour...they are very...very...busy....no smile, the face look like not happy when I have a lot of request. The chicken served with me without skin. So yuckkkk....

I’ve been coming to this place for 15 years and it’s the worst now that it’s ever been. Service is horrible - both because it’s slow and because the staff barely speak English. The produce is more or less the same as it was 15 years ago but now costs 3 times as much - you’re talking north of $10 for a feed, which is not what Oporto is about. The space is horrible too, run-down and unpleasant, with Oporto’s attempt at hipsterfied design aesthetics not really working.
