Arima Sushi

We enjoy the sushi here. It is also reasonably priced and it's good they don't charge extra for the black rice. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the service. The owner is rather unfriendly and terse, which is not good when you are customer facing. We have been numerous times (because of the food) and her attitude is always the same, so it's not a one off.

WARNING PLEASE READ THIS!!! I went to this restaurant today 24 November 2015. It was recommended by a friend and had some ok reviews so I thought I would try it. I bought the two for $5 sushi rolls. I handed the lady $20 and she puts it away. She then turns around carrying $10 and $5 notes and gives me $5 telling me I gave her $10 and shows me the money. I walk away, but return telling her I was sure I gave her $20. She denies it again. Well the lesson I have learnt is never to return to this shop and to warn others of this practice. So be very careful and if this woman tries to play this trick on you let her know about this review and get your money back. This is how they treat a customer??? Yeah great price, just be extra careful how much you pay for it!!!

The older Asian lady gives angry customer service. Asked her for a chopstick and she gives me a dirty and slams it on the counter. Once she gave me $2 extra by mistake and then chased me down the street to demand it back. I was a regular too but I won't be going back. This surly staff needs to be fired. The other staff are fine. Avoid the older one.

Update: food poisoning for 3 days and hospitalized twice due to this palce. Regularly receive hard avocado in my sushi roll and have to pull it out. I am now sitting at my job with food poisoning from their sushi. Regular customer taking their business elsewhere. (we have food health and safety standards for a reason guys)
