Service was okay, no smiles. Sushi $3.5 a plate, was good, tasted fresh. Environment looked messy and soy sauce stains on cardboard menu. Very disappointed with the nanban chicken $6.8.They used kewpie mayo instead of the tradition tartare sauce. But the chicken was cooked well. Also enjoyed the egg custard. Overall, this is the cheapest sushi train in the city so far i think.

Decent sushi train - easy to order using tablets. Not the biggest range of options but you have the classics. Price is quite cheap with a further discount if you pay in cash. Scallops is yummy.

This place was my favourite sushi restaurant in Sydney before have changed owner and been there yesterday.
There is no more friendly staff, good quality of food anymore.!!
The first thing I want to say is service.
I came here yesterday, once we came in there and sat on a chair. No welcome, greeted us. Even though we made eye contact with them.
When I order some food, they did not answer and just gave to us the food without a word.
Even I said “thank you.” They never said any word.
The worth was when I paid.
He said only amount and did not say anything until I left.
I felt like I ate at a restaurant run by AI.
No, the AI could have done better than this.
Second of all, (Their food safety)
Look at the photos I uploaded. It was around 4:30 pm. There were only 3 customers including us. You can see A lot of sushi plates on a bench it was seen like huge tower, even not on a train. The train was already full. There is no space but they already made so many things which is raw fish and shop was warm temperature.
Everything pre-made and keep it outside.
Once I ordered raw scallop sushi because it was not on a train and she just gave me premade one from that tower.
Not fresh anymore as before.
I never ever come back here and never recommend.

3.5 stars. No frills budget sushi train. You get what you pay for. Not super clean, surfaces are a bit sticky but a cheap option.

HOW HAVE I JUST DISCOVERED THIS PLACE? But seriously, it was so good and so cheap. The selection isn’t huge but they do make things on order if you don’t see it. Pro tip: sit near where they are making the sushi and grab the freshest plates. 🤩🤩 can’t wait to return!!

Not sure why but this place feels stuffy like there's poor air circulation. Floor looks a little grimey.
Staff is not friendly, very unlike Japanese restaurants that I've visited in Sydney.
Food is ok .

Our favourite sushi train (although sometimes they are so busy it’s almost Al a carte!). All plates are $3.50 which is amazing considering you can get seared scallops, salmon, wagyu and pretty much any sushi under the sun.
Can I also just say - it’s so fresh! Portions are good too. I can’t rave enough about them - I love me a sushi rio!

My favourite place for good hand rolled sushi. The management has changed and I would say it has lost some points but the quality hasn’t dropped a big deal enough to drive people away. If you request fresh sushi to order you won’t be dissatisfied.
The staff may be slow and sometimes get overwhelmed by a large influx of customers but they aim to be as helpful as they can and I can appreciate that.
