Fishalicious

After hoping I’d found a good old Aussie fish n chip shop for a weekend feed, as soon as I walked in the door, I knew it was far from that. I stranded and waited for 10 minutes to be served. When someone finally looked up, I was asked “what do I want” and was spoken to so rudely and that they didn’t want to serve me. I ordered a small chips that took nearly half an hour to receive while the Asian workers were too busy with their rice cookers and foreign food. It looked like they were “experiment cooking”. When I received the chips... there was a handful for the $5 I had payed and was extremely disappointed. They tasted cooked from a bag of frozen chips from the supermarket. I will never, ever go back here again. The non-exsistant customer service was appalling and the food was not worth the money payed.

Ordered a salmon fillet, chips and salad. Watched the salmon be put on the hot plate which didn't appear to be hot already, the chips were done well before made with other take away orders. The chips and salad put in the container and left on the bench waiting for the salmon to cook, not even under a heat lamp or chips put in once salmon is done. Took over 15mins and during that time I seen a lady with an apron on walk out of the kitchen holding a miniature poodle in her arms walk across the whole front service area and then puts the dog on the ground to follow her back in to the kitchen. I'm sure it's illegal to have animals in food preparation areas. Chips were barely warm. 1 star was being generous.

Really disappointing mixed grill. Even though it states a ‘grill’ there was fried food within it. Chewie calamari and very small and dry portions. We also ordered a salad and for some reason they already put the dressing in the salad? It made the lettuce soggy. I’d definitely suggest to them to invest in dressing containers. To top it off the order was 40 mins late. In this day and age with the competition on the market, I can’t see this place lasting long as it was a really horrible customer experience.
