Great sushi, fresh, friendly. But the plastic packaging around each roll is excessive, given that it would take hundreds of years for it to break down. Businesses need to start operating on a more sustainable mindset, plus it will save you guys money too :) I would eat here every day if there was less packaging (I work in a large office nearby and a lot of us feel the same).

Honestly the freshest and tastiest sushi you can get around Town Hall. Heaps of options with sushi, sashmi, miso soup, tempura and hot rice boxes. It's way more preferable to the nearby Sushi Hub (which is arguably fast food sushi with their heavy mayonnaised rice) and Hero Sushi stores. The staff are super friendly too, which is always pleasant.
Only downside to Sushi Canteen is their usage of plastic. Each sushi roll is encased in a hard plastic shell. Hopefully that can change soon!

I agree with the other reviewers on the plastic excess on the wrappings but other than that, the sushi and rolls are delicious. The kindness of the guys attending it is great.
I'll come back to grab-n-go many other times.

Ok sushi but they are using too many plastic. I don’t think they need to use plastic containers for each sushi roll, it’s easier to eat with a paper wrap and better for our environment.

4 stars for the food and 2 stars for customer service. The lady rolled her eyes a lot while serving us especially when we asking gently for one more soy sauce for our sushi.
