Make your own pizza as I did or choose off the menu and watch it be cooked in a flash in a huge prominently featured oven. Fratelli Famous Pizzeria is usually crowded with younger people, which is fine (just loud), and the decor and set up is more take away than eat in. Still, the pizza is very good. With a soft drink, a small pizza deal is around $13.

Remember the last time you ordered make-your-own-pizza at Pizza Hut or Dominos? This is what you can get here at Fratelli Famous, except you can pile them up as much as you want and the ingredients are of much higher quality. On top of that, this is all done on a clean bench within your sights so you know there is no extra "special sauce" added.
While I like the idea of the make-your-own pizza, I am not a fan of those pre-configured pizzas that seemed to be lacking in toppings.

Super super loud, as in it is simply impossible to have a conversation in this place. Absolutely no seating as it shares the dining room with the Bavarian Bier Cafe next door - the people getting smashed on their pints take up all the space and seem to contribute hugely to the noise level.
The quality of the produce is alright, but quantity is pitiful, as is the selection of produce - they only had 4 different meats to choose from, and a handful of veggies. I have been to other locations for this chain and they have been exceedingly generous with the toppings. It also was served pretty much ice cold (it was a 30-something degree day) because the staff were too busy folding boxes and having a giggle with each other to bother serving the food. The tray my pizza was served on was significantly hotter than the pizza.
The staff are also not super helpful. It's an unusual set up, where they have numbered placards for what you need to put on the pizza, and the order you order them in, but they aren't numerically placed at the counter. The girl taking the order spoke so softly you couldn't hear her. One of our party had been to one of these places, and the server just stared at her rather than even attempting to explain the process.
The price is also ridiculous. The pizza below, with a can of Coke Zero (that was filthy with dirt on the top) was $19. I had a better tasting $5 pizza from Domino's the weekend before, that had more topping, and was hotter after the 15 minute drive home than this pizza was after the 15 second walk from the counter to the table.
Whilst I've had good experiences at other locations in this chain, you couldn't pay me to come back here. 0/10 (the 1 star is there because you can't put 0).

Poor copy of the fantastic Fratelli Fresh on Bridge St. While more casual than Bridge St the food is no where near the same quality. The pizza base but there weren't nearly enough ingredients on the pizza and for the price its not worth it. If you really want to try Fratelli Fresh go to the Bridge St restaurant - getting a seat is difficult but totally worth the wait.

The pizza tasted alright but the base was not even close to handling the weight of the really light basic toppigs that we chose, didnt even have any meat and the whole think just kept falling apart. Ordered thier ice tea along and it was 3/4th full of ice and not even 1/4th tea in it. Nothing too fancy compared to what the place is portrayed as.

Create your own (vegan) pizza. Vegan cheese is available and a wide range of vegan toppings! Yummy! Can also vouch for the vegetarian salad - great mix of ingredients!

I love Fratelli in the Pitt St arcade, and thought to give these guys another try after being closed for months. Some notes.
Dough quality is similar to Domino's, terrible, and with a flat non puffy texture, including the crust. Flour, water, salt, yeast... It's not hard guys.
Size of the pizza was far smaller than average.
The salami was on the verge of turning.
Cheese was cheap and heavy, despite paying +$5 for buffalo mozzarella.
Olives are cheap and flavourless rings.
Total cost $23.
Needs a complete overhaul, standard compared to other outlets is shameful.

Venue is nice but not very cosy, staff are polite, but the food is very average. Ingredients didn't taste fresh, the tomato base is terrible, and it's too expensive for the quality of food that you get.
