Disappointed in quality. Crepes appeared to be warmed up from frozen. Strawberries were gray like canned fruit. Hollandaise sauce appeared to be from a package.

Staff were friendly and the Ukrainian skillet was amazing!!!!!

Waited over an hour while other customers were served. No explanation as to why it took so long. It felt we were forgotten. Manger was not helpful at all. It’s not bad but it’s just not great.

I come here once a year at least, every time I visit Cape Breton.
The food is ok, all day breakfast is a bonus. Prices are ok...not too expensive. Portions are huge.

The items don't look anything like they do on the menu though.
The staff seem nice enough, overall it's a middle of the road diner, cooks don't seem to put a ton of effort into their work.

Excellent service, decent portions, and good prices. Easy access and lots of parking from the mall location. They kindly substituted the toast/pancakes with fresh cut fruit. I'm visiting from BC but plan to come back again before returning home.

Service was good, but food was not good. Scambelled eggs were more like chopped up microwave egg bits. Quality isn't anywhere near smitty's used to be unfortunately.

Good food, large portions. The waitress took our order is and someone else brought our drinks. The OJ was very watery. As our waitress passed by our table she stopped and questioned me about the orange juice, saying it seemed very pale. She very quickly replaced it with a properly blended OJ. We will definitely stop by again.

Great local breakfast spot serving up excellent food. I've only been for breakfast but always enjoy the Texas Skillet.
