Waffle Stop

We really enjoyed our meal here the other day! I ordered the bacon avo scramble and it was a bit watery because of the tomatoes, but other then that it was good. The hash browns were pretty bland and tasted like they were frozen. For my drink I had the strawberry lemonade which was very refreshing. We definitely want to come back again and try more on the menu. Everything sounded amazing and of course we couldn't order it all. We'll be back!

Best breakfast ever! Such a cute restaurant with amazing service. Everyone seems to genuinely love working there. The food is unique, fresh, and they have yummy boozy breakfast coctails. We had the Bacon Avo Scramble and Bacon Overboard Combo, and we probably need to fast from bacon now for awhile. Everything was perfect: hot, cooked correctly, fresh avocados, crispy bacon, yummy waffle toast, cinnamon butter, bacon maple syrup, I mean, really...this place is fabulous! We will likely return for lunch during our stay in Tacoma to try savory waffles and waffle fries. Can't wait!

It’s terrible. They made this chicken and waffle with syrup that forced me to break my diet. The hubby ordered the Bacon Overload. He was dancing in his seat 😂.They have mimosas on the menu which is next on my list def. The gals there were attentive, it’s clean and cheerful. I’ve eaten there about 4x and they have been consistently pleasant. One of my go to places for brunch when in Tacoma.

$36 for charcoal waffles. Just ordered at 7:52am picked up order its 8am. My wife just opened her tiny portion of off brand hazelnut chocolate (not nutella) banana strawberry waffles and told me it was like sawing into a stake. I opened my chicken and waffles and they were burned. Had to drown them in syrup to have a couple of bites. This place used to be decent but unfortunately the standards have drops significantly in recent times. A real shame. Update: 04/02/2022: I am genuinely grateful to the owner who reached out to me to rectify the negative experience we had with Waffle stop. The owner was calm, respectful and clearly cares about the standards of his business. We tried waffle stop again today and let me tell you, there was a night and day difference in the quality of our food. We ordered the Chicken and Waffles and the Buttermilk Waffles and they were delicious. Everything was cooked well and the portion of the Buttermilk Waffles was generous. I might recommend that you perhaps include 2 waffles in your Banana, Strawberry Nutella Waffles. It’s not often these days that owners take feedback humbly and with a willingness to rectify. Great breakfast spot! Keep in mind it will get busy on the weekends so there maybe a little wait. Food was excellent and fresh with good size portions. I wasn't a big fan of the honey syrup so ill probably get regular maple syrup with the chicken and waffles next time. Service was amazing, Yona our server took great care of us. Looking forward on coming back soon.

Came on a Monday for brunch and the wait time was pretty short. There are cute shops next door to pass the time until you receive a text your table is ready. Prices were reasonable for the portions and flavor — everything is made scratch daily and all ingredients are locally sourced. You can absolutely tell, because everything is SO DELICIOUS. I got a mimosa, and for $9, it came in a huge glass and the orange juice is fresh squeezed so overall it was an absolute steal. I got two. Our meals were pretty quick, and also very tasty. My favorite part is how well this place is decorated. Very on brand, trendy, and aesthetic. I was so impressed. You can tell they really paid attention to the details and made this place very unique. They spent much time and money to make it memorable and fun. I would say the service could have been better, but overall a great experience. Would absolutely come again!!
